The maker

Clothes with a point of view.

Greg Brown is the person behind every CecilAndEzra suit, from the first cut to the last stitch.

Two grandfathers. One very personal label.

Cecil and Ezra were Greg’s grandfathers. Their old-fashioned names fit a label made around vintage cuts, wild prints, and the kind of workmanship that never comes off an assembly line.

Greg learned to sew young, studied theatrical design and costuming, and spent years in professional theatre before building a life as a clothing maker and on-set tailor.

The studio rule

Keep the shape simple. Let the fabric do the talking.

Greg usually buys only two yards of a print. The photo sample takes one, leaving a small run for the people who catch it in time. That is why the line keeps changing, and why it never feels factory-made.

Small company. Big heart.

Everything begins with the fabric and ends with a suit made for a real person.
